Just plug it in and it quietly dries the air. Features an automatic shut off switch to shut the unit off when the water reservoir is full. When this occurs a"full" indicator light will alert you when the reservoir needs to be emptied. Holds up to 16 oz.
To me that's a plus because as a Mother I am always forgetting things. I like that the Gurin Electric Compact Dehumidifier helps me remember to dump out the water collected. I have had mine plugged in for about a week now and its not full yet as you can see in the picture below.
