Lemonade Picnic

I asked my daughter what she wanted her fourth birthday party theme to be and she told me a lemonade picnic. So I started brain storming Ideas and researching on the Internet. I found a number of good ideas for her party homemade piñata, lemonade stand, mason jars filled with lemonade. Below you will see pictures showing you all the different decorations, tools, crafts used and a how to by pictures.

Lunch Bags

Added Stickers to the Bubbles

The party took place at Roxhil Park in West Seattle across the street from Westwood shopping center.

I made lunch bags you could fill yourself from the picnic table. We had turkey sandwiches, apples, celery, raisins with peanut butter, pasta salad, chocolate pudding, and pink lemonade.

All the food was bought at Safeway with big help from the deli, who filled my eighteen sandwich order two hours before the party. The cake was from the Metropolitan Market, they did a lovely job decorating the cake I was very happy with the taste too, it was strawberry with white frosting.

I filled the piñata with all of my daughters favorite things. Rose petals, bubbles, glitter, rubber band bracelets, tattoos, jumping frog toys, kazoos, and pencil top critters. I added stickers to the bubbles.

Then we played a game called find the lemon. Each lemon was filled with tickets to use at the lemonade stand. The lemonade stand had the filling ideas for sale: gum balls, cookies (birthday cake Oreos) popcorn, lollipops, licorice, pink lemonade.
