 I came across the coolest app today! The UNICEF Tap Project. I was so amazed at how easy it is to help people get water all around the world.  Anyone can do this, all you have to do is download the app. (Here is the link) http://tap.unicefusa.org/mobile/unsupported 
We can help support UNICEF effects by NOT using our smart phones. When you open the app, you have to set your phone down and not touch it. See how long you can go without it. Every minute with bring water to someone in need. Please help support UNICEF in its goal to bring water to people in need!

Thanks for your support during World Water Month. Together people have gone over 250 million minutes without their phones to help children in need of clean water. Time donations are now inactive, but you can still go without your phone and donate to support the UNICEF Tap Project.

Why Water?

No one can survive without water, and yet 768 million people around the world do not have safe, clean water to drink. 2.5 billion people don’t have access to a proper toilet.
It isn’t just inconvenient – it’s lethal.
Every day, 1,400 children die from diseases directly linked to unsafe water or a lack of basic sanitation facilities.

Since 1990, more than 2.1 billion people have gained access to clean drinking water thanks to the work of UNICEF and its partners.
