With it almost being Thanksgiving I was thinking of ways to add some flare to my party platters. I have really been into the chalkboard look so I decided to use chalkboard paint to paint them. This way I can draw the name on the platter and not have to buy or make place cards. I mostly used old ones or ones I got fairly cheaply at the thrift store.
All you need is paint, brush, party platter, and a paint stick (free at most stores).
I used two coats and it dries super fast you could do this in about 30 minutes. Will be doing more to some of the things I painted with the chalkboard paint. Look for more info in my Thanksgiving Blogs posted later this month.
