Spend Halloween at the Seattle Center

Looking for something to do on Halloween Night?   Visit the Seattle Children's Museum for a free Costume Carnivaland then hop over to the EMP Museum for their free Monster Fest: Kids Halloween Extravaganza. It's a night full of fun!
Connecting the events on the campus is a FREE Trick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt.  Search the Seattle Center for clues (and treats!) as you follow the hints from place to place.  The Free guide is available to pick-up at the Seattle Children's Museum or the EMP Museum from 4pm - 8pm on Halloween Night.
The Trick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt will run while supplies last!

Trick-or-Treat

We are hosting our 2nd annual Costume Carnival, providing a free, safe and indoor option for kids 10 and under on Halloween.
We have partnered with some of our favorite organizations to turn the Museum into a Halloween hullabaloo with events including: a "Not-So Scary" Haunted Mountain, Silly-Spooky Storytimes, a "Where in the World is Dracula?" Scavenger Hunt, and many booths to visit for a "Trick" or a "Treat."
And yes, this event is FREE for kids 10 and under and their adult chaperones, but each year we ask you to bring a new or gently used item.  Check back for details!
The Museum will be open from 10am - 3pm at our regular admission price on October 31st.  We'll close our doors at 3pm, make a magical Halloween transformation, and re-open at 4pm.

Stuff to keep in mind:

This event is for kids 10 and under and their families. Kids need to be with an adult, and adults cannot enter unless they are with a kid. For the 11-18 crowd, you need to be with an adult (someone over 18) AND a sibling or family member who is 10 or younger.
We hope everyone comes dressed up for the fun. Costumes are not only welcomed, they are encouraged. One thing to remember - we need to see your face. No masks for adults or kids while you are at the Carnival. And keep in mind that we are a family-friendly place, so try not to be too scary or too scandalous.
We are running this event while our supplies last.
